LesCoat is a concrete stain block with a surprising ending - it's peelable! Combine this technique with Water-borne or Acid Stains, which we also offer - please see right sidebar for color charts.
Step 1:
After arranging the stencil on the slab, apply LesCoat gel using a sponge brush, caulking gun, or tube.
Step 2:
Pull Stencil from the slab. The gel will remain to block stains or sealers from penetrating your stencil design. Remember, areas coated with gel are not affected by stains or sealers.
Step 3:
After the gel dries, use a brush or sprayer, to apply your choice of concrete stain or sealer over the pattern.
Step 4:
Peel gel from the slab to reveal the design. Get creative by using integral color in your slab, or color stenciled areas with SS Rainbow Water-borne Stains or Sedona Acid Stains (see right sidebar for color charts).
LesCoat is a proprietary, water-based, gel material. After it is applied and allowed at least 24 hours to dry, it is sandblast-resistant and impervious to acid, water based stain or dye stain. Use LesCoat in stages to allow for the use of multiple color applications to give an infinite array of designs and effects.
LesCoat can be used to create score line, stencil logos, dress up countertops and floors with custom designs, freehand designs or use any stencil.
