For field problem solving, Fritz Pak can come to the rescue in a wide variety of situations.
Example One : Air Plus
You are pouring and tests are being run. The air content is low. You are pouring and cannot wait on a replacement load. ASTM will allow air to be added on the job. Simply add Air Plus and keep pouring.
Example Two : Mini Set Delays
Mini Set Delays allows you to stage the pours. A great benefit when stamping concrete. It allows more working time. Simply pour out one half of your load, add mini delay and you have 30 minutes to one hour extra time. These are valuable to have if equipment breaks down or a worker gets ill. you can have more time to finish your project, and are able to stamp more concrete.
Example Three: Slump Buster
Concrete arrives on the job too wet, add Slump Buster. This is especially helpful on a job with a steep incline. You do not have to wait on a replacement load, just add and pour with no waiting time.
Example Four: Evaporation Retarder
Evaporation Retarders can help on hot windy days as it can pose a problem with surface crusting as the surface sets too fast. By adding 9 parts water and spraying a light mist, you are able to slow down hydration allowing for more working time.
