Sealers, Hardeners And Epoxy

Sealers and curing compounds; water repellants are all offered at Murray Decorative Concrete Supply. The following is a product sampling.

TK Bright Glaze is especially formulated for use on colored and stamped concrete. It is a 100 methacryate polymer blended with aromatic solvents with no filler added. Gives extra protection from freeze-thaw cycles, deicing salts and chemical erosion. it is a clear coating that does not yellow. High Gloss.

TK BRIGHT KURE & SEAL is a blend of 100% methyl methacrylate polymers used as a superior, exposed aggregate cure, and final sealer and protective coating. Bright Seal is an excellent sealer for architectural concrete, terrazzo, brick, stone, slate, quarry tile, burnish block, or any cementitious material where yellowing or discoloration cannot be allowed.  The coating is clear and does not yellow, nor degrade, with age or exposure to ultraviolet rays.

TK BRIGHT KURE & SEAL Matte Finish is a Bright Kure & Seal with a matting agent to remove the gloss, but retain its ability to highlight the color in the decorative concrete.

Concrete Countertop Finishes: For concrete floor hardeners TK-5329 is colorless odorless. This sodium silicate penetrates and reacts with the free lime and calcium carbonate in the concrete. It then leaves a hard film which hardens, dust-proofs and seals the surface.

Epoxy Coatings: enPoxy - a two part, water clear, 100% epoxy that provides complete protection from household stains and chemicals. The high gloss shine may be buffed down to a satin finish and still provide stain and bacteria protection.

AK-2  ACHRO KURE 1315 is a 25% solids, solvent based, clear, high quality acrylic resin curing, sealing and hardening compound for freshly placed and/or existing concrete, terrazzo, brick, stone, architectural concrete and other cementitious materials for either exterior or interior applications.  AK-2 ACHRO KURE, with its premier acrylic resin gives it superior moisture retention capabilities, excellent resistance to abrasion, ultraviolet ray resistance, and chemical resistance.  Read label or Spec Data sheet before using.
Coverage Rate:  Curing and Sealing 350-600 sq. ft./gal.

TK-1606 TRI-THANE is a tough gloss aliphatic urethane coating which gives your floor a protective high-gloss.  It can be used on concrete floors in a wide variety of situations.  It keeps dirt, grease, and harsh solvents from penetrating floors.  A  tough, shiny surface cleans up quickly, reducing your labor costs.

TK-290 TRI-SILOXANE is a low viscosity oligomeric organosiloxane masonry water repellent, which achieves maximum hydrolysis under the influence of atmosphere moisture and polymerizes to a polysiloxane, which is tack free and hydrophobic in nature. Through this reaction, the siloxane groups are chemically bonded to the concrete, which eliminates the ever present moisture that had previously engulfed the cementitious surface, thus eliminating spalling, freeze damage, and rebar corrosion.
Therefore TK -290 TRISILOXANE is chemically bonded within the substrate, not just physically bonded like other surface penetrating sealers. This formulation is ready-to-use, colorless, breathable, non-staining, non-yellowing, deep penetrating, concrete and masonry water repellent.

TK-5329 Floor Hardener is a colorless, odorless, nontoxic, noncombustible blend of 100% active sodium silicate and siliconate chemicals which deeply penetrate the concrete and masonry substrates.  It chemically reacts with the calcium component in the cement to strengthen, harden, densify, dustproof and waterproof it permanently.
Coverage Rate: 200-300 sq. ft./gal

TK TRI-SEAL is a 100% water based, high solids, premiere acrylic resin compound formulated to cure, seal, protect and dustproof concrete as well as to seal many types of porous tile and resilient floor. TRI-SEAL is designed for both interior and exterior application; however, it is particularly recommended for indoor work in public buildings and housing (hospitals, schools, restaurants and private residences where solvent systems are difficult to use). The resin used in TRI-SEAL will resist softening better than any other resin on the market when water puddles on it.  The cloudy white solution will dry and provide a clear dust free surface.

Coverage Rate:  Curing and Sealing 200-300 Sq. Ft./Gal. 

Epo-seal 20 (satin) is a breathable non-yellowing penetrating epoxy-acrylic designed for concrete sealing applications such as stamped, stenciled, cementitious overlays, acid stained, water borne stained and brushed or trowel finished concrete surfaces. Use on horizontal and vertical applications. Meets ASTM cure and seal specifications.  Apply by brush, roller or sprayer at a rate of 250 – 400 square feet per gallon depending on the porosity of substrate. With multiple coats it is suggested that the second coat be applied within 24 hours after the first coat was applied, though in many cases, four to six hours will do.

Eposeal 38 (high gloss) is a non-yellowing Epoxy-Acrylic designed for concrete sealing
applications such as stamped, stenciled, cementitious overlays, acid stained, water borne
stained and brushed or trowel finished concrete surfaces. Use on horizontal and vertical. Excellent for stained or dyes floors.  Apply by brush, roller or sprayer at a rate of 250 – 400 square foot per gallon depending on the porosity of substrate. With multiple coats it is suggested that the second coat be applied within 24 hours after the first coat was applied, though in many cases, four to six hours will do.  NOTE:  Apply as a top coat with the Eposeal 20 as the base coat.
