Miracote Decorative Overlays
We offer solutions for worn concrete with Decorative Concrete Overlays.
When preparing a substrate, acid should be used with caution and many times acid will cause long term problems. Our preferred method is always mechanical; in the long run it costs a few cents more but it will insure a good bond.
When applying overlayments all oil, grease, dirt, and any sort of bond breakers need to be removed! Liquid cleaners can stay in the concrete surface and also lead to issues use with care and carefully read directions.
Mirastamp
Is a polymer modified two component cementitious architectural paving system that is installed at a thickness of 1/4” (6,3mm) to 5/8” (15,9mm) and is stamped, using common methods and techniques. It develops high compression strength, abrasion resistance and is suitable for heavy-duty vehicular or pedestrian traffic. It is designed for interior and exterior applications over new or existing concrete surfaces.
MPC (Multi-Purpose Protective Coating)
Is a polymer modified cement material mixed at the time of application; MPC can be applied to concrete to recreate a like-new appearance. It is a key component of Miraflex II Systems and is ideal for walkways, pool decks, patios, parking decks and driveways, it is available in a wide range of colors, textures and patterns.

Reminder: Overlays are only as good as the substrate they are bonded to, large scaling and cracks will need concrete replacement and not overlays. We remind you to think in long term when applying decorative overlays.
